If you’re hesitant about therapy or have tried it before and left feeling unseen, I’m glad you’re here.
Clients often express surprise at how quickly they feel comfortable in sessions. You can expect me to show up as a real person with genuine reactions, not just a therapist nodding my head with an unreadable face. I believe therapy works best when you show up just as you are, no performance or expectations.
Our work will be grounded in the relationship we build together. Using a balance of compassionate understanding and direct challenging, I help you pause in real time to build awareness of your true experience during the moments that you usually push through or minimize.
I use a relational approach, meaning we use our real time experience together to understand how you’re showing up in relationships and to explore how to start showing up authentically.
My approach draws on the techniques described here. Read through to get a sense of what working together might feel like.
-
IPNB focuses on how your nervous system responds in relationships. By noticing patterns of safety, stress, and connection in real time, we work toward greater regulation, presence, and inner harmony.
-
IFS highlights different “parts” of yourself, including those that protect, criticize, or feel overwhelmed. Over time, we integrate these parts with compassion to reduce inner conflict and move forward with a sense of wholeness.

Using a psychodynamic lens helps us uncover the roots of your distress by exploring how your past continues to shape present patterns. It promotes deeper healing rather than simply managing symptoms.
